Visitors spotted plenty of famous historical figures at the eighth annual Village at War weekend.
Re-enactors from all over the country came to the village to help bring wartime Britain to life at the canal village Stoke Bruerne in Northamptonshire.
The event is organised by the Friends of the Canal Museum and local villagers.
Organiser Lynda Payton told ITV News Anglia the event is all about highlighting the work of the canal during the war:
