Work to recover four lorries after an accident this morning on the A14 at Girton near Cambridge, has begun.

The A14 has been closed between J31 and J36 near Newmarket, to allow for a diversion. It's meant a sixteen mile stretch of the road had to be closed off, trapping some traffic.

Work to recover the four lorries has now begun, but the road is expected to remain closed westbound until around 1pm say police.
