Anglia region MPs appointed to Government
Conservative MPs from the Anglia region have been appointed government ministers by David Cameron.
Suffolk MP Matt Hancock becomes Cabinet Office Minister and Paymaster General
The West Suffolk MP Matt Hancock has been appointed Cabinet Office Minister and Paymaster General.
He will have responsibility for Civil Service reform and efficiency in government departments. He replaces Francis Maude, who held the position since 2010.
Mr Hancock was elected a Suffolk MP in 2010 and previously worked as Chief of Staff for the then Shadow Chancellor George Osborne. He was first appointed a minister in September 2012.
