The remnants of a former hurricane have added strength to the first major storm of autumn to hit the Anglia region with gales and heavy rain forecast.

Wind gusts peaked at more 50 mph over much of the Anglia region during daylight hours on Tuesday 21 October as the storm containing the remnants of Hurricane Gonzalo swept through.
