Max's mother says "we're just so proud!"
The mother and partner of Commonwealth Gold gymnast Max Whitlock have spoken of their delight at his success in Glasgow.
21 year old Whitlock, who trains at the South Essex Gym Club in Basildon, has won gold in the men's floor event and gold in both the all-around and team categories.
He also picked up silver in the Men's Pommel Horse Final.
Today (Friday) he secured a Bronze in the Men's Parallel Bars Final.
His mother Madeleine Whitlock revealed his focus was now on Rio and that she was "so so proud". Little wonder really!
