A man has died in an apparent canoeing accident in Northamptonshire.
Police were called to the lake at Sixfields in Northampton at around 4pm yesterday after reports of an overturned canoe.
The body of a 57-year-old man was recovered from the lake just before 5pm, along with a canoe.
The man’s death is not being treated a suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
