Michael Lee cleared of sex and assault charges after trial

Former world speedway champion Michael Lee has been found not guilty of several sex attacks following a trial at Ipswich Crown Court.

The ex-King's Lynn rider was accused of rape and assault in December 2012 and two further sexual assaults in December 2011.

The case has again raised the issue of whether suspects in sex cases should have their identities protected unless they are convicted.
