2014 Women’s Tour
The region welcomes the first women's cycling tour of Britain.
Women's Tour starts today
The inaugural 'Women's Tour' cycling event will be launched in the region today as it sets off from Oundle in Northamptonshire.
The first stage gets underway at 11 o'clock.
A number of Olympic champions will be among the riders who will pass through Desborough, Brixworth and Chapel Brampton on the way to Northampton.
Thousands of people are expected to turn out to watch.
