Darts star reflects on World Championship run
Suffolk darts star Peter Wright has been reflecting on his fantastic run to the PDC World Darts Championship final, where he narrowly missed out to Michael van Gerwen.
'Snakebite' Peter Wright goes down fighting in World Darts Championship final
Peter "Snakebite" Wright last night missed out in the final of the Ladbroke's World Darts Championship.
The 43-year-old fought back bravely against Michael van Gerwen after the Dutchman sailed to an early 4-0 lead, but it proved to be too little, too late in the end.
Wright - who lives at Mendham near Harleston - is famous for his colourful hairstyles which are done by his wife Jo.
van Gerwen sealed a 7-4 victory to lift the trophy for the first time in his career at the Alexandra Palace in London.
