UK Power Networks says it hopes to restore power to all homes in the East of England by the end of Christmas Eve following the strong winds.
At the peak of the storm 300,000 properties had their electricity cut in the East and South East.
There are still 3,600 without power in the Anglia region mostly in Essex and Norfolk.
