Cambridgeshire cyclist scare
The British Transport Police have released shocking footage of the moment a cyclist from Cambridgeshire narrowly missed being hit by a train after dodging a level-crossing barrier.
PC: "Cyclist inches away from death"
A British Transport Police PC says that a cyclist caught on CCTV trying to get over a level crossing was "inches away from death."
The force today released footage of the moment the cyclist risked her life to encroach onto the line at Waterbeach near Cambridge.
PC Matt Mildinhall says that he was "astounded" by the woman's actions and believes that everyone involved was lucky to get away injury-free.
