American airmen return home
Around 90 American airmen have arrived back at RAF Lakenheath from Afghanistan after being in the war torn country for 3 months running rescue operations.

US airmen back on British soil at Suffolk base
Families have been celebrating at RAF Lakenheath today, with 90 American airmen returning home from Afghanistan.
The airmen were away from their loved ones for a period of three months whilst they carried out their duties in the war-torn country.
