Nuclear power station plans go on show
Plans for a new nuclear power station at Sizewell in Suffolk go on show for the first time today.
Proposed nuclear reactor uses French design
The proposed new Sizewell C nuclear power station could create more than 5,500 jobs in the construction sector.
Plans are being released today by EDF Energy for building the new French designed European Pressurised Reactor, or EPR, on the Suffolk coast.
The EPR uses two nuclear reactors within the same single plant to produce 3.2 gigawatts of power.
