Police in Essex are still questioning a man in connection with the death of a pregnant woman and her unborn baby in Harlow.
20-year-old Eystna Blunnie from Halling Hill in the town was found with multiple head injuries on Howard Way just before 3am on Wednesday 27 June. A 23-year-old man from Harlow was arrested on suspicion of murder.
She was due to give birth to a baby girl in the next few days. As a result the man is also being questioned in relation to the death of Eystna’s unborn child.
Eystna's parents have paid tribute to her. In a statement they said:
"(She was) a wonderful loving daughter, looking forward to the birth of her first child... Our daughter and granddaughter have been taken from us in such a tragic and horrific way. We can't begin to explain how we feel."
