Local residents in Oakham have generated complaints. There's been reports to the police of drag racing, looting and pubs having to close.

Councillors will today decide whether to allow the construction of Rutland's first ever McDonald's outlet.

The Conservatives won the Rutland & Melton constituency at the 2010 General Election with a majority of 14,000 votes.
