The wintry blast has continued to cause problems across the region after fresh snow fell overnight.
100 drivers were trapped on the A505 near Luton on Friday night (2nd March)
More snow meant cancelled trains and renewed safety warnings to drivers.
With temperatures rising slightly tomorrow it seems the worst of the weather is now over. But with a yellow warning for ice in the East of England in place until tomorrow morning, the danger is not yet past.
Police are also now warning motorists of the threat of waterlogged roads as the thaw begins.
