Police are hunting a gunman after a man was shot in a residential area of Kettering.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the assault in Field Street on Saturday afternoon (October 14).

A man got out of a vehicle and approached him with a gun before shooting him in the leg.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
