CCTV cameras better than burglar alarms, says chief inspector

A chief inspector has warned that people who live in the countryside are better off getting CCTV than alarms, if they want to protect their homes from burglary.

James Sutherland, from Cambridgeshire Police, says the lack of cameras in rural areas is one of the reasons preventing crime is so difficult.
