The family of the seven year-old girl killed in Harlow when a bouncy castle blew away in high wind have thanked the public for their support.

More than 150 people attended a candle-lit vigil for Summer Grant on Saturday night.

It was held in Harlow Town Park where the tragic incident happened at an Easter fair.

A candlelit vigil for a schoolgirl who died on a bouncy castle in Essex will take place this evening.

Summer Grant, who was seven and from Norwich, was killed when the fairground ride blew away as she played on it.

A two-minute silence will be held this evening at the gates of Harlow Town Park, where the little girl was injured.

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence in connection with Summer's death.

Tributes have been paid to the seven-year-old girl killed in a bouncy castle accident in Essex over the weekend.

Summer Grant from Hellesdon near Norwich suffered multiple injuries when high winds swept the bouncy castle into the air at Summer High Park in Harlow on Saturday afternoon.

Parents, pupils and teachers from Valley Primary have been paying tribute leaving letters, flowers and teddy bears in memory of Summer.

'Enough is enough': Harlow MP wants ban on bouncy castles

The Harlow MP Robert Halfon has called for a ban on bouncy castles after a seven-year-old girl died at a fun fair in the town.

Summer Grant from Norwich was killed in the incident on Saturday (March 26).

Mr Halfon says bouncy castles shouldn't be used unless it's absolutely certain they're safe.
