Stevenage complete double signing ahead of new season
Stevenage have completed the double signing of centre-back Jamie McCombe and MK Dons striker Tom Hitchcock.
32-year-old McCombe, who has played for the likes of Bristol City and Doncaster Rovers, has agreed a one-year deal.
Meanwhile, promising forward Hitchcock joins on a month's loan.
The 22-year-old could make his debut in tomorrow's clash against Notts County at the Lamex Stadium.

Young Sheffield United striker Calvert-Lewin joins Northampton Town on loan
Northampton Town have signed young Sheffield United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin on loan until January.
The 18-year-old will replace fellow forward Ivan Toney who left the Cobblers to join Premier League side Newcastle United earlier this week.
Calvert-Lewin can also play in midfield and recently signed a new three-year contract with the Blades.

Norwich City midfielder Howson pens new four-year deal
Norwich City midfielder Jonny Howson has signed a new four-year contract with the club.
The 27-year-old has been a key figure since arriving from Leeds United in 2012 and has now played over 100 games for the Canaries.
Howson scored nine goals last season as Norwich regained their place in the Premier League.

Colchester United land former Ipswich Town man Ambrose
Colchester United have signed former Ipswich Town midfielder Darren Ambrose on a one-year deal.
The 31-year-old has been keeping himself fit by training with his former employers at Portman Road.
Ambrose moves on a free transfer and could make his U's debut against Blackpool on Saturday.
