The £102 million project began in January 2013 and was officially opened by the Secretary of State for Transport, Patrick McLoughlin on Friday 12 December 2014.

Dualled A11 between Thetford and the Fiveways roundabout to officially open this morning
It has taken almost two years and now the dualling of the A11 between Thetford and the Fiveways roundabout has finished.
The £102 million project which began in January 2013 will be officially opened later this morning by the Secretary of State for Transport, Patrick McLoughlin.
It is the last section of single carriageway on the A11 to be dualled, linking the east with London.
