Portillo to open King's Lynn station following revamp
Michael Portillo will officially open the refurbished train station in King's Lynn today.
The 168-year-old, grade 2 listed building, often hosts royal passengers including the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
The station has been taken back in time with a 1950's design, featuring vintage-style lanterns, signs and benches inspired by nearby Wolferton station.
