Luton Town's bid to bring Andy Drury back to the club blocked by Crawley
League One side Crawley Town have blocked an approach from Luton Town for midfielder Andy Drury.
Drury previously spent time at Luton earlier in his career, before he was snapped up by Ipswich Town for a fee of around £150,000.
The Hatters were very interested in bringing the 30-year-old back to Kenilworth Road, but Crawley still see him as a key member of their squad.
"We have rejected Luton's approach because we have absolutely no wish to sell Andy," Crawley Town Chief Executive Michael Dunford said.
"He is an integral part of John Gregory's plans for next season and a very important member of our squad."
Luton have managed to get one deal over the line today however, with Welling United striker Ross Lafayette joining on a two-year deal.
