The town of Soham in Cambridgeshire is marking the 70th anniversary of the explosion of a munitions train which killed two men.
The George Cross was Posthumously awarded to one of the men who uncoupled a burning wagon full of bombs, to move it away from the rest of the train. That medal has now been given to the museum for display about the events of 2nd June 1944
