Driver fighting for his life after sports car crash

A driver is fighting for his life after crashing into a house in Suffolk. His Audi TT sports car ended up embedded in the house near Lowestoft early yesterday morning. The driver is being treated at Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge with life-threatening injuries.

A couple and their young daughter were asleep in the house at the time. They escaped unhurt.

Man seriously injured after car hits house

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car struck a house in Lowestoft.

Emergency services were called to Long Meadow Walk at around 1:45am, where an Audi TT had left the road.

A man in his twenties was found trapped in the car and the road was closed while he was freed. He was taken to James Paget Hospital with serious head injuries but has since been transferred to Addenbrooke’s.

Structural engineers are checking the house. No one inside was hurt.
