Gymnast Louis Smith looking for new challenges

Double Olympic medallist Louis Smith is looking for new challenges after picking up his MBE from the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

The gymnast from Peterborough says he'll have a make a decision soon on competing in Rio but said "gymnastics is a tough sport and his body isn't getting any younger."

Louis says he's now looking at sporting legacy by setting up charities and summer camps. He's also planning to tour schools to tell children about his achievements.

Gymnast Louis Smith from Peterborough has revealed on Twitter that his invite to Buckingham Palace to receive his MBE was forgotten.

In the tweet he revealed his manager had forgotten the invitation.

Smith, who scooped silver on the pommel horse and a bronze in the men's team competition at the London Games, has described being awarded the MBE the proudest moment of his life.

Stars of last summer's Olympics and Paralympics are among those receiving honours at Buckingham Palace today.
