A vaccine van is touring parts of Essex where takeup of jabs is below average.

The van will head to different community centres to administer first doses of anti Covid injections.

The latest statistics show hesitancy about the vaccine is five times higher amongst black adults, while adults who identify as Muslim have the lowest uptake of the vaccine compared to those of other faiths. 

NHS staff will also be on hand to talk to people who are unsure about having the vaccine.
