Norwich mosque helps hundreds of people

Norwich Central Mosque on Aylsham Road has helped hundreds of people across the city with its foodbank and hot meals delivery service.
Every Sunday volunteers from the mosque give out 50 food boxes, to support families and people in the area. Those that can not make it to the foodbank get theirs delivered.
In recent weeks they have also provided hot meals to anyone who wanted one - with support a local takeaway cooking up hundreds of curries.
Last year an outbuilding at the mosque was set on fire. Shortly after the community rallied around the mosque, giving donations and offering help.
Organisers say the least they can do is to help others.
