Three people and a baby taken to hospital after Essex crash
Three people have been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in Essex.
Police were called shortly after 2.40pm on 7th August to the Maldon bypass on the A414. There were reports that a black Ford Kuga and a white Ford Transit van had been in a collision on the road.
A man in his 50s and a woman, who were in the van, have been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Ford Kuga driver, a woman in her 20s, is also being treated for injuries considered to be life threatening.
A baby was also in the car at the time of the collision and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The road has now re-opened but investigators are still keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision, particularly those who may have dash cam footage.
