Big name line-up announced ahead of events at Wicksteed Park

Wicksteed Park are announcing a big name line-up as part of a series of events to be help in the Northamptonshire attraction in 2021.

The announcement further secures the future of the attraction, which faced closure last month when it went into administration.

James Acaster, John Bishop and Jason Manford will all perform at a series of indoor and outdoor events to be held from the start of 2021.

Spandau Ballet and Eastenders star Martin Kemp will also perform in February.

Last month Wicksteed Park went into administration, casting doubt over the future of the park, which is due to celebrate it's 100th year this year.

It resulted in the loss of 48 permanent staff and 67 part-time and other jobs.

A new company secured the future of the park alongside a charity fundraiser which generated hundreds of thousands of pounds for the site.
