There's growing evidence that being cleared of Covid-19 could be just the start of the recovery for some patients.

Jeremy Clough from Earls Barton in Northamptonshire was admitted to Northampton General Hospital in March with coronavirus, sepsis and pneumonia.

The 47-year old who has Muscular Dystrophy was put into an induced coma and his family were told to prepare for the worst.

But last week, after spending 110 days in critical care he was wheeled out of the high dependency unit and moved onto another ward.

His family have been amazed with his recovery from Covid-19, particularly as he also has Muscular Dystrophy.

Jeremy's family say they are not sure how his continued recovery will be because of his Muscular Dystrophy, they're hoping his muscles will be able to build up again.

He is now having to learn to walk again and his rehabilitation could take many months.

Meanwhile, dozens of serious physical and mental symptoms linked to the virus are being reported across the region.

Kazzandra Jordan from Hethersett near Norwich believes she had Covid-19, but at the time she developed symptoms she was unable to get a test.

She has told ITV News Anglia that the continuing symptoms have been so bad she's had to stop working.
