An 82-year-old man from Lavendon near Milton Keynes has been reunited with some treasured photographs of his late wife and son thanks to the kindness of a stranger.
David Clarke found the undeveloped film when he bought a camera from a charity shop in Bedfordshire. He then tracked down John Salter who took the photos 40 years ago.
Lockdown meant David had time to develop the film he found inside the camera.
He put the photos on Facebook in an effort to find their owner but ended up with an unexpected reunion of his own...
John has been self-isolating alone during the pandemic and now, more than ever - he appreciates seeing some familiar faces from the past.
David and John only live 5 minutes apart and they're planning to stay in touch. From lost family photos - a new friendship is found.
