Lifting the lockdown: What we can now do this weekend
The gradual easing of lockdown is continuing over the next few days and weeks. More tourist attractions, leisure activities and business across the Anglia region are re-opening this weekend.
Outdoor swimming pools will be able to re-open from Saturday 11 July as will outdoor performance venues.
Indoor gyms, pools and sports facilities can reopen from July 25. The announcement will allow millions of people to return to the physical activity they have been craving since the lockdown began.
Outdoor arts performances – including theatres, opera, dance and music – will also be able to resume from this weekend, although audience numbers will be restricted and will be subject to social distancing rules.
Beauticians, tattooists, spas, and tanning salons can reopen from Monday 13 July although some of the restrictions put in place have been criticised by the industry.

There was also anger from outdoor swimming pools who were given less than 48 hours notice before reopening.
They are permitted to open from Saturday, but many - such as Woburn Lido in Bedfordshire - say they haven't had enough time to get everything ready.
Beccles Lido in Suffolk says their pool will re-open on Monday 20 July to allow time to train the lifeguards in the new Covid procedures.
The return of some areas of life have been welcomed. Muslims in Cambridge gathered for prayer at the city's central mosque on Friday for the first time since lockdown.
