French statue of woman sitting on goat stolen from Northamptonshire garden
A large bronze statue of a woman sitting on a goat has been stolen from a property near Oundle in Northamptonshire.
According to police, the 19th century French sculpture was taken from a garden early in the morning of Thursday, 25 June.
The offenders forced open a set of iron gates to get to the statue, which is just over five foot tall.
Northamptonshire Police have asked anyone who has been offered the statue for sale to contact them on 101.
