Man who fell to death from Ipswich balcony named as Gary Henderson

A man who died when he fell from a third-floor balcony in Ipswich has been named as Gary Henderson.

Mr Henderson, 64, from Upper Dovercourt in Essex, fell from the block of flats in Duke Street at about 2.35am on Wednesday morning.

He died at the scene. A post mortem concluded he died of a severe traumatic head injury.

A 26-year-old man from the Harwich area and a 24-year-old woman from Ipswich were both arrested on suspicion of murder.

The man has now been released under investigation, while the woman has been released on police bail until July 22.
