NHS reports 11 more coronavirus patients dying in the Anglia region
A further 11 patients have lost their lives with Covid-19 in hospitals in the Anglia region in Northamptonshire and Essex.
There were seven more patients dying at Northampton General between the 19th and 22nd June. Nearly three hundred people have died with coronavirus at the hospital since the start of the pandemic.
Essex is another county hit hard by the disease and the hospitals in Basildon and Southend reported another two patients had each died in those medical facilities.
Since the start of the outbreak, more than 5,700 people have lost their lives across the Anglia region.
The UK coronavirus death toll has risen by 154, bringing the total number of deaths to 43,081.
