500 jobs at risk at council's leisure and arts venues hit by pandemic
About 500 jobs are at risk in Peterborough as a charitable trust which runs some of the city's most popular leisure facilities has hit financial problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
'Vivacity' ran libraries, the city's Key Theatre, the Flag Fen Archaeological Park, the Lido outdoor swimming pool and a host of other sites across Peterborough.
Now control of those will be handed back to the city council.

Nearly all the 500 staff affected are currently on furlough.
Peterborough City Council said it was committed to continuing the services in the future.
