After discovering that Northamptonshire's Wicksteed Park has gone into administration, many began sharing their memories of the theme park.
The news comes just a year before Wicksteed Park was due to turn 100-years-old. It has been located in Kettering since 1921, when it was opened by Charles Wicksteed.
Wicksteed Park Limited, the subsidiary company that runs the site, has called in the administrators due to the huge financial strain of the coronavirus pandemic.
The move has resulted in the loss of 115 jobs and widespread dismay from those who have happy memories of the park.
