Two arrested after man in 20s is stabbed in Southend
A man in his 20s is in a life-threatening conditioning after being stabbed in Southend this morning (Thursday, June 11).
Police were called to Victoria Avenue, near the Blue Boar pub, around 4.10am.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Police said part of Victoria Avenue had been cordoned off while officers carried out forensic examinations and asked drivers to avoid the area.
They are searching the area and speaking to people living nearby.
