RSPB to reopen reserves - but with strict social distancing measures
The RSPB is to reopen its nature reserve at Minsmere in Suffolk.
The wildlife charity says it has taken additional steps to keep visitors, staff and wildlife safe and warned the reserve would be closed if people did not follow the new rules.
Among the measures in place will be:
Social distancing in the car park - drivers must leave at least a car space between each vehicle
Signs will be put out once car parks are full. When this happens, visitors are asked to visit another day.
The charity is asking people not to travel long distances in order toa void disappointment.
One way systems will be in force
Additional signage is up throughout the reserve to protect wildlife.
Passing places have been created along footpaths
More details can be found on the reserve's website.
