Joan of Park: 102-year-old raises thousands through sponsored walk
Aside from our NHS heroes and key workers there's a new group of people that have inspired the nation - our centenarian fundraisers.
Captain Tom Moore from Bedfordshire obviously blazed a trail raising more than £30m for NHS charities at the age of 100.
Now a 102-year-old from Felixstowe in Suffolk has been following his example by staging a sponsored walk of her own.

The former nurse had wanted to return to the wards to help during the Coronavirus crisis, but had to be persuaded that perhaps a charitable effort might be better way for her to contribute, as her daughter explained.

Her efforts have won plaudits from the town's mayor Mark Jepson
Joan is hoping to complete 102 laps of the park by her birthday in September - the equivalent of around 35 miles!
