Tributes have been paid to a 'devoted' doctor from Stevenage who died after contracting coronavirus.

Dr Abdorreza Sedghi was described by colleagues as a charismatic and caring GP, and last night, his colleagues at Lister Hospital held a vigil in his memory.

Dr Sedghi, known as Abdy, contracted Covid-19 in April and died at the Royal Papworth Hospital on Wednesday, May 27.
