The company which runs Norwich Airport says possible plans to introduce a 14 day open-ended quarantine for anyone flying into Britain would mean more devastation for the aviation industry.

Regional and City Airports (RCA) has written to the Government asking for a clear exit strategy if the 14 day quarantine is introduced.

The company is urging the Government to ensure that if the measure is medically necessary then appropriate 'safeguards around time-limiting the measures' and supporting businesses affected are taken.

RCA is also calling for weekly reviews on any new restrictions.

Regional & City Airports (RCA) owns and operates 3 passenger airports: Exeter, Bournemouth and Norwich.

Prior to COVID-19 they handled 2.4m passengers per year.
