A charity in Suffolk is warning that many carers are feeling increasingly desperate and lonely during lockdown.

Suffolk Family Carers say they're trying to find ways of getting into communities to offer support at a safe distance.

According to Carers UK, 70% of carers are doing more than they normally would and that's because of the support services that have been reduced or closed because of the coronavirus pandemic. They say people are feeling overwhelmed and worried about how they'll continue to cope during lockdown.

At Suffolk Family Carers, they're trying to stop people reaching breaking point by making sure they have someone to talk to, whether that's on the phone or a video call.
