Norwich 'plague doctor' identified as teenage boy
Police have identified the person going for walks in Norwich while dressed as a 17th-century plague doctor.
Officers have confirmed that the person spotted in Hellesdon wearing a long black cloak, hat and pointed beak-like mask in recent weeks is a teenage boy.
Jade Gosbell, 21, recorded a video of the person walking across a recreation ground in the Norwich suburb.
Norfolk Police had been trying to identify the costumed figure for a week.
"Officers from the local neighbourhood team have identified the individual as a boy in his late teens," a spokesperson said. "The individual has been spoken to about the consequences his actions may have on some people in the local community and was given words of advice as a result".
People posting on a community Facebook page said they thought outfit could frighten children.
