Latitude 2020 cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic

Latitude Festival has announced that this year's event has been cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Suffolk music festival is among the last of the major festivals to cancel.

In a Facebook post, organisers said they have "been closely monitoring this unprecedented situation and it's become clear that it's just not possible for this year's festival to go ahead".

Latitude has been taking place at Henham Park, near Southwold, since 2006. Past headliners include Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons and Solange.

The headliners for this year were due to be Haim, Liam Gallagher and The Chemical Brothers.

Latitude have said festival-goers can either receive a refund or retain their ticket and carry it over to next year's festival.
