People across the region have turned out to make their appreciation heard for key workers and carers.
The Clap for Carers event has been taking place every Thursday night at 8pm.
In towns, cities and villages across the east noisy appreciation rang out at 8pm in recognition of the live-saving work going on.
It was an emotional moment for staff at Northampton General Hospital who are mourning the loss of domestic supervisor Joanna Klenczon, who died of the virus aged just 34.
Joanna's friend Rosalind Luu, who worked with her, wore a brightly-coloured wig to mark the occasion.
The trust Chief Executive Dr Sonia Stewart said she touched the lives of many and “will be missed by everyone who knew or worked with her”,
At the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital staff were given tulips as a gift at 7pm before tributes were paid to them by fellow blue light workers at 8pm.
The National Trust’s Blickling Hall in Norfolk was lit blue in tribute to NHS workers.
