Artists pay tribute to Bedfordshire's fundraising hero Captain Tom Moore

Artists from across the Anglia region have been so inspired by the fundraising efforts of Bedfordshire's Captain Tom Moore that they have been painting portraits of him.

Jack Browning from Essex was one of those sending a painting to the veteran for his 100th birthday. Writing on Facebook he said 'traditionally speaking, portraits with such a prominent subject were reserved for the societal elite. But in my eyes, nobody right now is more worthy of a portrait than Captain Thomas Moore'.

In Northamptonshire, 21 year old artist Charlie Such also painted a canvas for Captain Tom Moore's birthday.
