Give your thanks to health service heroes on ITV’s NHS Day

ITV is dedicating Thursday 16 April to NHS Day to highlight the vital work of Britain's health service workers in tackling the coronavirus.

Right across the day, ITV will be celebrating the vital work of porters and paramedics, cleaners and consultants, nurses, doctors and everyone playing a crucial role in our health service.

ITV News Anglia would like to include your personal thanks for the dedicated NHS staff in the East of England and you can send us a short video.

During NHS Day on Thursday, ITV says it will be thanking and celebrating all the unsung heroes in our NHS "in the most uplifting and most meaningful way we can."

The broadcaster is also encouraging audiences to send their messages of support to their local hospitals.

ITV has also partnered with NHS Charities Together for the Million Claps Appeal.

The appeal is aiming to generate at least a million claps and raise £5 million to help support NHS staff.

NHS Charities Together is a national membership body representing, supporting and championing 143 separate NHS Charities. They have been coordinating the NHS Covid-19 Appeal.
