Man dies in hospital after Easter Saturday stabbing at house in Corby
Police say they've identified and are trying to trace a suspect after a man was stabbed to death in Corby.
The victim has been named as 40-year-old Wesley Brown, of no fixed address; he died at Kettering Hospital in the early hours of Saturday, 11 April.
He was taken there after being found with a stab wound at an address on Humber Close earlier that night.
On Saturday afternoon Northamptonshire Police arrested two men, aged 21 and 23, on suspicion of murder, but both have now been released without charge. However, they have been bailed in relation to separate drugs charges.
In an update released on Monday, 13 April, officers confirmed they are looking for someone else.
Detective Chief Inspector Joe Banfield said: “This remains a fast-moving investigation during which we have now identified a third potential suspect and we are focusing our efforts on arresting that individual and bringing them to justice.
“Anyone with information relating to this investigation is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 17 of 11 April."
Over 25 officers have been investigating the incident, with an address on Derwent Walk one of several locations they have searched.
